Charles Herrmann-Léon was a pupil of Philippe Rousseau and made his debut in 1861 at the Paris Salon. Above all Herrmann-Léon was a painter of dogs for which he won medals in 1873, 1879 and 1900. In 1897 he was decorated with the Legion d’Honneur. MUSEUMS AMIENS THE HAGUE PERIGEUX |
