Biographical Details |
Ludwig Dill was born at Gernsbach on the 2 February 1848. A pupil of Piloty and of Seitz at the Munich Academy, Dill continued his studies and gained experience by travelling to Italy, France and Switzerland and finally returning to Munich. In Germany, Dill exhibited at Berlin, Munich and Dresden and in France he exhibited at the World Exhibition of 1900, winning a prize. MUSEUMS BERLIN |
