ALEXANDRE CLARYS 1857 - 1920 PORTRAIT OF A DALMATION 20 x 24 INCHES CANVAS SIZE 29 x 34 INCHES FRAME SIZE Painter of dogs and race horses, poster artist and illustrator. He studied at the academy of Brussels, as well as in the workshop of E. White Garin from 1888 to 1914. He specialised in scenes with dogs or horses in a realistic style.
